2 Kronieken 25:16

SV	En het geschiedde, als hij tot hem sprak, dat hij hem zeide: Heeft men u tot des konings raadgever gesteld? Houd gij op; waarom zouden zij u slaan? Toen hield de profeet op, en zeide: Ik merk, dat God besloten heeft u te verderven, dewijl gij dit gedaan, en naar mijn raad niet gehoord hebt.
WLC	וַיְהִ֣י ׀ בְּדַבְּרֹ֣ו אֵלָ֗יו וַיֹּ֤אמֶר לֹו֙ הַלְיֹועֵ֤ץ לַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ נְתַנּ֔וּךָ חֲדַל־לְךָ֖ לָ֣מָּה יַכּ֑וּךָ וַיֶּחְדַּ֣ל הַנָּבִ֗יא וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ יָדַ֗עְתִּי כִּֽי־יָעַ֤ץ אֱלֹהִים֙ לְהַשְׁחִיתֶ֔ךָ כִּֽי־עָשִׂ֣יתָ זֹּ֔את וְלֹ֥א שָׁמַ֖עְתָּ לַעֲצָתִֽי׃ פ
Trans.	wayəhî bəḏabərwō ’ēlāyw wayyō’mer lwō haləywō‘ēṣ lammeleḵə nəṯannûḵā ḥăḏal-ləḵā lāmmâ yakûḵā wayyeḥədal hannāḇî’ wayyō’mer yāḏ^a‘ətî kî-yā‘aṣ ’ĕlōhîm ləhašəḥîṯeḵā kî-‘āśîṯā zzō’ṯ wəlō’ šām^a‘ətā l^a‘ăṣāṯî:

AC	טז ויהי בדברו אליו ויאמר לו הליועץ למלך נתנוך--חדל לך למה יכוך ויחדל הנביא ויאמר ידעתי כי יעץ אלהים להשחיתך--כי עשית זאת ולא שמעת לעצתי {פ}
ASV	And it came to pass, as he talked with him, that [the king] said unto him, Have we made thee of the king's counsel? forbear; why shouldest thou be smitten? Then the prophet forbare, and said, I know that God hath determined to destroy thee, because thou hast done this, and hast not hearkened unto my counsel.
BE	But while he was talking to him the king said to him, Have we made you one of the king's government? say no more, or it will be the cause of your death. Then the prophet gave up protesting, and said, It is clear to me that God's purpose is your destruction, because you have done this and have not given ear to my words.
Darby	And it came to pass as he talked with him, that [Amaziah] said to him, Hast thou been made the king's counsellor? Forbear; why shouldest thou be smitten? Then the prophet forbore, and said, I know that God has determined to destroy thee, because thou hast done this, and hast not hearkened to my counsel.
ELB05	Und es geschah, während er zu ihm redete, da sprach Amazja zu ihm: Haben wir dich zum Ratgeber des Königs gesetzt? Laß ab! Warum soll man dich erschlagen? Und der Prophet ließ ab und sprach: Ich weiß, daß Gott beschlossen hat, dich zu verderben, weil du solches getan und auf meinen Rat nicht gehört hast!
LSG	Comme il parlait, Amatsia lui dit: Est-ce que nous t'avons fait conseiller du roi? Retire-toi! Pourquoi veux-tu qu'on te frappe? Le prophète se retira, en disant: Je sais que Dieu a résolu de te détruire, parce que tu as fait cela et que tu n'as pas écouté mon conseil.
Sch	Als dieser aber so zu ihm redete, sprach Amazia zu ihm: Hat man dich zum Ratgeber des Königs gemacht? Halt inne; warum willst du geschlagen sein? Da hielt der Prophet inne und sprach: Ich merke wohl, daß Gott beschlossen hat, dich zu verderben, weil du solches getan und meinem Rat nicht gehorcht hast!
